Can we see Agent Orange live before making a decision?
Keep an eye on our Public Dates page or send Kevin a text on 07887 685526 if you or your family wish to see the band.
How long will you play for?
We can play two or three live sets totalling 2 hours approx.
We would recommend starting around 9pm to give your guests a chance to arrive, catch up and have a drink or two so they are ready to throw a few shapes on the dance floor :)
The band will usually perform two 60 minute sets, or three x 40 minute sets depending on a client’s preference.
Do you bring your own speakers and lights?
We have invested heavily in the latest Line Array speaker technology and digital desk to avoid triggering noise limiters, which many modern venues have. We also bring a selection of LED lights and moving heads to make both the room, and us look pretty. But seriously, lighting is an important aspect of any event which is often over looked. The right lighting creates an atmosphere that enhances the energy of the evening.
We keep all of our equipment PAT tested as most venues require and have £5,000,000 Public Liability Insurance, copies of which are available upon request.
Do you provide music in between the band's sets?
No problem. We bring an iPad with over 10 hours of music, which can be played before the band start, during the interval and when we have finished, if required. This is not a disco, so we may not have a specific song request in the library, but you are more than welcome create your own MP3 playlist and we will pump it through our snazzy PA ;)
Do I need to provide anything for the band?
A few separate sockets around the stage area is required. If you are providing food for your guests we would appreciate the same, with your blessing of course.
How far do you travel?
We have played on the Thames and some top notch hotels in London over the years, but most of our performances are in East Anglia. We will travel further but you will need to shake your piggy bank some more… please contact us with the details.
Do you use stand-in musicians?
On the rare occasion one band member is unavailable we would call upon a previous band member to dep but we must state this is a very rare occurrence, as we are all very committed to maintaining our high standard.
Will you play any requests?
Hey, we will try anything once!! If you require a first dance, or a song that is sentimental to you please ask at the time of booking and we will confirm if it can be covered to the high standard our clients expect.
When do you arrive?
For most events we will load in the equipment around 6.45pm, so we can have background music playing before your evening guests arrive.
Are weddings your main business?
We have performed at many weddings over the past 28 years, but likewise have played at many corporate events, some of which on an annual repeat due to thier success. We have also played at some great parties in village halls and back gardens over the years. All we need is a power supply, a flat dry surface to set up on and if we are to play outside, a canopy in case it rains please.
Agent Orange are one of the busiest bands around, with many of our dates booked over 12 months in advance, so early booking is recommended! Hope to see you soon...
